Special Care Nursery Babies who are born prematurely or need special care after birth stay in our progressive Level II Nursery, certified by the State of Illinois. This Special Care Nursery is a six-bed unit with 24-hour pediatric coverage by Children's Memorial Hospital physicians. We provide dedicated attention in an inviting environment, including soft lighting and rocking chairs.
