Paid Time Off
Swedish Covenant Hospital provides paid time off (PTO) to employees who are budgeted to work at least 40 hours per pay period (.5 FTE and above). Your PTO can be used for vacation time, holidays, sick pay or it can be cashed in two times annually at 80%. PTO can also be contributed towards your Tax Sheltered Retirement Account once annually at 85%. PTO is accrued based upon the number of hours worked each week. The PTO accrual rate increases based upon the benefit level and years of service.
Bereavement Leave
An employee is eligible to receive paid bereavement leave for up to two consecutive days off for the death of an immediate family member.
Jury Duty Pay
Swedish Covenant Hospital encourages employees to be responsible in their civic duties and participate when requested to attend jury duty. Swedish Covenant Hospital pays employees for time spent out of the office to participate on a jury.
Family And Medical Leave
